Holding its own in Canada

I mentioned in my last post that I saw Rachael King's novel The Sound of Butterflies on the shelves at the huge Chapters Bookshop in Ottawa, Ontario. And that I felt proud. Well here it is, holding its own. A lovely sheen to this cover.

I'm so glad you do that too. I know when I see friends' and fellow bloggers' books in bookstores, I feel wonderfully proud of them, and proud to be a kiwi.

Yay for Rachael! What about yours Mary, is it there too somewhere?

Um no, mine's not there GG. The only country apart from NZ and Australia that wants my novel is Israel. It will be out there in February. Looking forward to that.

Aw shucks Mary. Thanks for that. I took pics of Roger Morris's first book in the window of Whitcoull's on my cellphone or him, but couldn't work out how to get them off my phone!

I am very pleased with that cover.

Hi Mary - I did send you and Issy a farewell posting but it must have disappeared into cyberspace.

Great to see your travels posted - and how generous to capture Rachael's book on the shelf in Canada.

Take care - have fun - see you in the sunshine back home.
